Anesthesia
Choose from laughing gas or oral sedation for your comfort during dental procedures. Laughing gas, technically known as nitrous oxide, is administered through a mask, and patients remain coherent to communicate with the dentist, but experience no pain. After laughing gas, patients can drive home and return to work the same day. Oral sedation is also called sleep dentistry, and it’s a wonderful choice for patients who experience anxiety or for patients undergoing lengthy procedures. - Digital Photos - With digital photography, we can show you what your new smile may look like before you undergo a procedure. You’ll be amazed at our before and after library. Photos can help you determine not only whether you want a smile makeover, but also the look you prefer.
- Intraoral Cameras - An intraoral camera projects an image from inside your mouth onto a monitor. This allows us to study the condition of your mouth down to the tiniest detail. We can also show you exactly where problems exist so you can fully understand your customized treatment plan.
- Digital Radiography - Digital radiography is 90 percent safer for patients than traditional X-rays. Developing and film storage aren’t required, so digital X-rays are also environmentally friendly.
- Air Abrasion - In many instances, we can use air abrasion instead of a dental drill or laser to remove tooth decay. Air abrasion is so gentle that often patients don’t require anesthesia.
